Destiny 2: Mercury Exploration, Public Events, and Strike Preview

Mercury, the centerpiece to the Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris expansion, is going to be your newest destination. However, there may not be that much to investigate.  The scope of the area we were allowed to play felt much smaller than any of the other locations I’ve seen. We're told branches will open up if you begin a Public Event or quest, but those moments are supposedly only tied to specific instances.
