Amazon announces Prime Day 2026 is coming sooner than you think

Amazon Prime Day will return in 2026, that much was always pretty much a given - but this year Bezos is moving the party forwards. The retailer has announced, via a blog post yesterday, that this year's sale will take place in June - a month earlier than its usual timeline would suggest. We don't know exact dates yet, but that means Prime Day gaming deals could be heading our way in just over a month's time. Last time Amazon moved its event forward, it took place across June 21 - 22 back in 2021
