Warship USS Gabrielle Giffords commissioned in Texas

HOUSTON (AP) — The Navy's newest combat ship was put into active service following a commissioning ceremony Saturday, named after former Arizona congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords who was injured during a 2011 shooting.
