Useless Wine Stoppers?

It took me a while to realize what the purpose is of these wine stoppers? Why doesn’t finish a bottle of whine? Leftovers in a bottle to protect with little stoppers. What, I never heard of such a thing. But I guess it’s me! If there is wine in the house it will be drunk. If I want it or not. Bottle gets opened and I don’t stop until the last drop is gone.
