Sony abandons audio-video-editing software, sells business to Germany's Magix

Sony announced it is selling off nearly all of its Sony Creative Software programs to Magix, a German software company that specializes in audio and video editing. The sale includes Vegas Pro and Movie Studio, but not the new Catalyst program.
