Placeholders are coming back to Microsoft’s OneDrive service as ‘On-Demand Sync’

Microsoft revealed during its Ignite 2016 conference in Atlanta that placeholders are coming back to OneDrive in the form of an "On-Demand Sync" feature. The company did not say when this new OneDrive feature will go live, but may appear in 2017.
