OnePlus 5 Android Oreo-based OxygenOS 5.0 update cancelled, here's why

While the tech industry is in a tizzy over the new-found bug in Intel processors affecting almost every PC and phone, OnePlus too is facing an unnamed bug in Android Oreo-based OxygenOS 5.0. The bug has led to the company cancelling the roll out altogether. OxygenOS 5.0 for OnePlus 5 was supposed to be the first official Android Oreo OTA rollout for OnePlus 5 users.
