MIT study: NYC’s taxi fleet could be replaced by 3,000 ridesharing vehicles
New York City’s entire taxi fleet -- nearly 13,250 vehicles -- could be replaced by just 3,000 ride sharing cars if these services were used to capacity, according to a new study from MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
