Micron stacks memory with 3D NAND technology for mobile, increasing capacity

Micron revealed that it's now providing samples of 3D NAND technology for mobile devices to partners and customers. It stacks layers of memory cells vertically. The typical 2D NAND used today arranges memory cells horizontally.
