Interstellar comet contains cyanide, similar to comets from our solar system

Scientists have found a thin cloud around the interstellar comet known as 2I/Borisov, which indicates cyanogen gas. The presence of cyanide does not pose a threat, since Earth will not come close to passing through the comet’s tail.
