Intel to Allow Antivirus Software to Use Its Integrated GPUs to Accelerate Malware Scanning

With Accelerated Memory Scanning, Intel aims to transfer the work of malware scanning to its CPUs' integrated graphics hardware. It will first be available in Microsoft's Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection.
