Google extends Assistant support to older Android smartphones and tablets

Earlier this year, Assistant was brought to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and higher. Now, Google is now bringing built-in support for the Assistant to smartphones running Android Lollipop, and tablets running Marshmallow and Nougat.
