Gadget rental startup Lumoid shuts down, torpedoing Best Buy partnership plan

Lumoid offered gadget fans the chance to "try before you buy," but on December 10 its founder and CEO said the web-based business was no more. The closure also means its planned partnership with Best Buy cannot proceed.
