Cops with drones: UK police set to use UAVs in ‘high-risk’ siege operations

UK cops are set to start using Aeryon SkyRanger quadcopters in a range of scenarios, including high-risk operations such as sieges. Police chiefs view the tech as "an efficient alternative to helicopters, police dogs and, in some cases, officers themselves."
