Code for extensions already exists in Windows Edge, but it doesn’t work

Digging around the code of the latest version of Microsoft Edge, a Twitter user managed to find references to extensions. Further digging revealed a pane, suggesting Microsoft is working on bringing browser extensions to Edge.
