Chrome OS may jump straight to eating Android Pie rather than munching on Oreo

Notes posted on the Chromium boards suggest that Android support on Chrome OS may jump to v9.0 "P" rather than move to v8.x "Oreo." Chrome OS currently supports Android v7.x "Nougat" on most Chromebooks.
