A Hyperloop-esque plan is taking shape in South Korea

Engineers in South Korea are showing an interest in ultra-fast transportation technology similar to Hyperloop. Recently revealed plans describe pods traveling through "a state-of-the-art low-pressure tube at lightning speeds" of up to 620 mph (1,000 kmh).
