Wall Street boosted by financial, tech stocks

The S&P 500 financial index rose 0.92 percent, outpacing the other major sectors of the benchmark index. The sector had lost nearly 1.5 percent on Thursday, sparked by declines in Deutsche Bank and Wells Fargo. Shares of JPMorgan, Bank of America and Citigroup rose between 0.6 percent and 1.1 percent on Friday.
