Wall St. touches two-week high on deals, strong earnings

AT&T was down 1.2 percent at $37.03 after the telecommunications company said it would buy Time Warner Inc for $85.4 billion. Time Warner Inc was down 1.8 percent at $87.84. Investors are also parsing quarterly earnings reports from companies.
