Wal-Mart earnings beat expectations; shares up

(Reuters) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc reported slightly stronger-than-expected quarterly earnings on Tuesday as it booked its fifth straight gain in U.S. same-store sales, sending its shares up nearly 3 percent.
