TSX opens higher on U.S. data, oil prices

TORONTO (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Wednesday as positive U.S. economic data and higher oil prices helped drive gains in most major sectors. The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was up 82.54 points, or 0.58 percent, at 14,329.31 shortly after the open. (Reporting by John Tilak; Editing by Meredith Mazzilli)
