TSX opens higher after strong GDP data
TORONTO (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Tuesday after data showed the Canadian economy grew more than expected in October, and the U.S. Commerce Department revised up its third quarter GDP growth estimates. The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was up 96.50 points, or 0.67 percent, at 14,528.88 shortly after the open. (Reporting by Allison Martell; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
