TSX ends higher, helped by U.S. data
TORONTO (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index ended higher on Wednesday, with broad gains seen outside of resource stocks after solid U.S. economic data and a pause in the retreat in oil prices. The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed up 38.23 points, or 0.27 percent, at 14,285. Eight of the ten main sectors gained.
