The TPP trade deal -- five things to know
Twelve countries around signed the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), on Thursday in New Zealand, a huge free trade pact. -- The biggest deal of its kind in history, the TPP aims to remove tariffs and other barriers to free trade between 12 Pacific Rim nations. -- Those countries are Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the United States and Vietnam, and together they account for 40 percent of the global economy.
