Stocks drift after weak reports; Asia, Europe mostly shut

LONDON (AP) — Stocks lacked momentum on Friday after weak U.S. earnings underlined an uncertain economic outlook and dented Wall Street. Most Asian and European markets were closed for Labour Day.
