South Africa's Eskom says widens power cuts to 4,000 MW
JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa's power utility Eskom said it would cut about 4,000 megawatts of electricity or around 10 percent of the power capacity of Africa's most advanced economy on Wednesday, as more generating units failed. "Due to further reduction in generation capacity, Eskom is moving to stage 3," the utility said on its official Twitter account.
