S.Africa's Eskom to restart rolling blackouts

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa's struggling power utility Eskom will implement rolling blackouts from 8 a.m. (0600 GMT) on Saturday, the fifth consecutive day of electricity cuts to hit Africa's most developed economy. Eskom said the unplanned outages were due to several of its units being down due to technical faults, forcing it to implement "stage 2" load shedding that will cut up to 2,000 megawatts from the national grid.
