Rwanda says economy expanded by 6.9 pct in 2015
Rwanda's economy grew by 6.9 percent last year, slightly less than the 7.0 percent growth recorded in 2014, the statistics office said on Thursday. It said the expansion was driven by growth in the farming, industry and services sectors, which all grew by between 5 and 7 percent. Services contributed 47 percent of the output while farming accounted for a third, the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda said in a statement.
