Ringgit, Bursa up on Budget 2016 adjustment

KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit and the stock market surged this morning on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s Budget 2016 adjustment yesterday.Global benchmark Brent crude oil futures also extended gains on Friday rising 31 cents to US$34.20 a barrel after ending 79 cents, or 2.4 per cent higher, at US$33.89 on Thursday.At the stock market, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gained 14.54 points higher or 0.89 per cent to 1,649.07. ...
