NYT issues correction to editorial linking Giffords shooting to Palin

The New York Times has published an editor’s note correcting a column by its editorial board that said the 2011 shooting of Rep. Gabby Giffords in Tucson, Ariz., had been inspired by former Alaskan governor’s divisive political rhetoric.
