Nasdaq short interest down 0.9 pct in late April

Short interest on the Nasdaq fell 0.9 percent in the second half of April, the exchange said on Monday. As of April 30, short interest fell to about 8.318 billion shares, compared with 8.396 billion shares as of April 15.
