Nasdaq breaks record closing high on Thursday

The Nasdaq Composite Index, the most prominent U.S. gauge of technology stocks, surpassed a 15-year-old record high it hit during the technology bubble of 2000 on Thursday. One market watcher said Nasdaq stocks have some real strength and as such are deserving of their highs, but he cautioned against investing in the social media space at these levels.
