Malawi central bank keeps benchmark lending rate at 25 pct
JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - Malawi's central bank left its benchmark lending rate unchanged at 25 percent on Wednesday, saying inflation remained in line with its projections. In a statement posted on its website, the Bank of Malawi said growth in the agriculture-driven economy was now estimated at 5.4 percent in 2015, down from a previous forecast of 5.8 percent.
