Eurozone economy grows 0.9% in 2014

The eurozone economy expanded by 0.3 percent in the fourth quarter and 0.9 for all of 2014, official EU data showed Friday, slightly better than expected but too weak to lift the European economy out of the doldrums. The official Eurostat agency's first estimate for growth last year in the 18-nation eurozone was slightly higher than a forecast of 0.8 percent made by the European Commission.
