European stocks rebound as data sparks stimulus hopes

Europe's main stock markets rallied Wednesday as falling eurozone inflation stoked hopes of quantitative easing stimulus from the European Central Bank, dealers said. Shortly after midday, London's benchmark FTSE 100 index rallied 1.10 percent to stand at 6,436.40 points.
