European stocks extend slide
European stock markets dropped Tuesday, extending the previous day's slump, on the prospect of fresh stimulus to prop up the weak eurozone that risks losing Greece as a member. Energy companies were meanwhile weighed down by sliding oil prices, pushing the London market down sharper than its counterparts owing to the presence of heavyweights Shell and BP.
