European stock markets close mixed

Europe's main stock markets were mixed at Thursday's close amid tepid US jobs data, and ahead of Greece's weekend referendum on its bailout. Wall Street stocks were also mixed in late morning trade Thursday, after the Labor Department reported the US economy added 223,000 jobs in June -- a positive but somewhat lower figure than anticipated. While the headline US jobs number came in above the key 200,000 benchmark, the overall report was mixed.
