Europe stocks close mixed

Paris (AFP) - Europe's main stock markets closed mixed on Wednesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index surging 1.57 percent to 6,945.20 points after the British government raised its 2015 growth forecast in a rousing budget statement.
