Croatia PM unveils 'difficult' reforms to boost economy
Croatia's government unveiled Thursday a set of what Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic labelled "difficult" reforms aimed at curbing public debt to achieve lasting growth for the country's fragile economy. "Public debt is the key problem," stressed Oreskovic, whose conservative government took over in January. "We want to show our determination to undertake difficult reforms... that are necessary if we want to achieve sustainable growth," he told a cabinet session presenting the planned measures.
