Cameroon revises 2015 growth forecast up to 6.4 pct

Cameroon, central Africa's biggest economy, has revised its forecast for 2015 GDP growth to 6.4 percent from an initial outlook of 5.8 percent, the Ministry of Finance said. The figure is well above an International Monetary Fund forecast of 5 percent growth this year and next in Cameroon. Cameroon's economy has grown steadily in the past decade, powered by exports of cocoa and oil.
