Bursa Malaysia closes near five-month high

The stock market's benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) index rose 0.77 per cent to close at 1,716.34 points, its highest since October 20, last year. Analysts said the performance of the FBM KLCI index was in line with overnight gains in Wall Street following higher oil prices and the Federal Reserve's announcement a day earlier.
