Botswana's Q1 GDP growth contracts by 1.3 pct qtr/qtr

GABORONE (Reuters) - Botswana's economy shrank by 1.3 percent quarter-on-quarter in the three months to end-March versus a 3.3 percent expansion in the fourth quarter of 2014, data from the statistics office showed on Tuesday. On a year-on-year basis, gross domestic product (GDP) growth was at 4.3 percent in Q1 from 5.3 percent in Q4.
