Bank of Canada's Poloz: recent economic data encouraging but variable

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Recent economic data in Canada have been encouraging on balance but also quite variable, Bank of Canada Governor Stephen Poloz told the House of Commons finance committee on Tuesday.
