Asia stocks fall as Fed adds to uncertainty, oil whippy

Asian share markets slipped on Thursday after a late selloff on Wall Street, as investors were concerned the U.S. Federal Reserve might continue raising rates despite a turbulent backdrop for financial markets and much of the global economy. MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan eased 0.5 percent in the wake of the Wall Street drop, while Australia's main index lost 0.6 percent. Japan's Nikkei fell 0.96 percent, after a 2.7 percent jump the day before.
