BBC and Amazon bring King Lear to life
Today, BBC and Amazon have unveiled the first image from their upcoming adaptation of Shakespeare’s King Lear. The image shows Anthony Hopkins as King Lear alongside rising star Florence Pugh (Lady Macbeth, Fighting With My Family) as Cordelia, the youngest of Lear’s children. King Lear will premiere on BBC Two this spring.
