India’s Logistics Data Bank tracks 1 bn containers since 2016 launch

India’s Logistics Data Bank has tracked 1 billion export-import containers since its launch in 2016, according to Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, who termed the achievement as ‘an important milestone’ in logistics journey.The platform offers visibility of movement of such containers across the country through RFID-based technology, covering 19 ports and 32 container terminals.
