Germany’s LANXESS launches Purventis flame-retardant platform

LANXESS is launching Purventis, a flame-retardant platform for insulation materials, with Purventis Core as its first commercial product.
The reactive halogen-free phosphorus product targets rigid PU and PIR foams used in panels, roof and wall insulation and closed-cell spray foam.
It is designed to support fire performance, lower emissions, processing practicality and regulatory resilience.
