China DTY's price dip opens a tactical sourcing window

DTY 150D/48F polyester filament yarn showed a three-way split across China, India and Pakistan in the week of August 3–10, 2026.
Chinese prices fell 0.79 per cent to CNY 9,400/tonne as crude, PTA, MEG and PX softened.
India stayed flat at ₹136/kg, while Pakistan rose 0.51 per cent to PKR 198/kg, flagging sourcing arbitrage for global buyers.
