Canada rejected deep US tariff cuts, says White House
US accused Canada of rejecting broad market-access concessions and keeping barriers on steel, aluminium, autos, lumber and other goods.The White House cited Canada's 25 per cent tariffs and company-specific quotas on US vehicles, and a 22 per cent fall in US vehicle exports.Exporters, importers and sourcing teams face tariff and market-access uncertainty in North American goods trade.
