U.S. SEC Moves Toward DeFi Oversight as It Reopens Proposed Regulations

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is considering reopening a rule proposal on how it oversees crypto platforms to more explicitly include decentralized finance (DeFi). Commissioners will vote on the language during an open meeting on Friday.
